EMC was established in 2003 by the Yeates family who in 2012 celebrate 100 years catering to the public. In the 1920’s the first fish and chip mobile unit in South Wales was operated by Charles Yeates Junior the only break in tradition was during World War 2 when Charles Yeates Junior became a cook in the RAF feeding the troops.
In the 1950’s Hot Dogs and Burgers arrived in the UK and were brought to South Wales by David Yeates Senior as an addition to the already established fish and chip business.
In the 1970’s with global concerns about healthy eating baked potatoes were added to the menu as a healthy option.
From the 1990’s into the new millennium under the direction of David Yeates Junior EMC now operates a fleet of high class mobile units specialising in all forms of catering at major shows, festivals, concerts and sporting events throughout the UK.
